I-171H Finally Here

Somthing new to check off my list. Our I-171H (the USCIS paperwork required to be able to bring an orphan back into the US) finally arrived today. Much thanks to our persistant HS Agency Director who made many phone calls, wrote emails and finally got someone to physically go get our file and process it. Thank you to the CIS worker who's job this no longer is, who got our file and processed it for us. THANK YOU ALL This is now one less thing on a very long list that I have to worry about. WOO HOO!

I've been tagged for a porch shot

I am not sure where this originated, but I was tagged by Jenn to add a porch shot to my blog. I live in a rural area so we have the old fashioned kind. Nice for just sitting out and watching the clouds go by because not much else goes by. The boys reluctantly posed in the chairs out front. They recently were sitting out there because they got "kicked" out of the house for having a pillow fight while I was trying to clean the house and they messed up the room I had just cleaned. They sat out there for about 20 minutes pretty dejected while their dad laughed over the phone when I told him about it. It was a pretty funny sight.

To those brave enough to still check on us..

The good news is that we are now down to 11 LIDs before ours. The bad news is that they only managed to do 6 days worth of LID's this month. So the new China Adoption Analysis according to Dana is that the crystal ball is still the best guess at when we will get our referral. (pictures and info about Meili)

If they continue at this snails pace then I would guess August or September. If they can manage 11 days next time then we'll see her face in July.

My vote is for this year sometime, the sooner the better. I am just sick for everyone who is still behind us in this line. It is getting harder and harder to hope for any kind of speed-up. Congratulations to all my November buddies who do get to see their child's face this month. WOW!
